This is a remarkable piece, and I agree with what QMC said in his critique. However, based on a more precise definition of terms, there is a focal point in this image. It exists inside the visual triangle created between the bright sun and the two fortified towers who's roofs are illuminated by the intense glare. Thus, this issue could be solved merely by adding a clearer subject matter to the space which you have created.

From a graphic design perspective, this absence of specifics is actually a good thing. As it currently appears, you could insert just about anything that you or your clients wish to have pictured in the scene.
